Compatibility
I have done my best to ensure backwards compatibility between the 10.10 script and Ubuntu 10.04. The Attobuntu script will run without error on Lucid, even though it was designed for Maverick.

Is it possible to burn the minimal install CD to a usb stick?
And use it in conjunction with your script?

Yes. You can use UNetBootIn to "burn" the disc image to the USB drive and boot off of that.
